1. How far will The Krafty Caterer travel for an event?
The Krafty Caterer is based in Poway, CA 92064 and will travel as far south as Miramar and as far north and west as Rancho Santa Fe and Carmel Valley.
2. Do I have to be a creative person to do this?
Absolutely not!! Anyone can make a masterpiece! I bring idea/inspiration books to all my parties to help get the juices flowing as well as painting aids like sponges and cotton swabs (it’s amazing what simple tools can do for you!!!).
3. Do you bring tables and chairs?
No. The event or group coordinator is responsible for providing a crafting area.
4. Do you provide aprons to protect clothing? 
Sure do!! And they are quite fashionable!
5. Do you bring table covers to protect surfaces?
Yes! And you can pick from a variety of colors (green, red, yellow, pink, light blue, dark blue, purple or birthday party theme).
6. Can I do a party outdoors and what do I need to provide?
We can definitely do a party outdoors (weather permitting). Tables and chairs will need to be provided. Parks w/ picnic tables are a great option for an outdoor party!
7. What if someone at the party doesn’t finish their project?
No problem! There are “to-go” kits for rent. “To-go” rental kits cost $20 and can be taken home for up to 3 days.
8. Are the ceramic (kiln fired) pieces food, dishwasher and microwave safe?
Yes they are! These items are glazed and fired in order to make them safe for use.
9. Is there a deposit fee?
Yes. The event/party fee serves as the deposit. The deposit is payable by check to The Krafty Caterer when you book your party. We will confirm the reservation when the deposit is received.
10. Is the deposit refundable?
Yes. You can cancel your event/party up to three weeks prior to the scheduled date and get the full amount of your deposit refunded to you. If you cancel up to two weeks before the scheduled date, 50% of your deposit will be refunded. If you cancel less than two weeks before the scheduled date, the deposit is not refundable.
11. How do you accept payment?
Once we confirm the event/party date, the deposit can be paid via check, venmo or paypal. The remaining balance will be due the day of event or party via credit card or check.
12. Do all of the images on your website belong to The Krafty Caterer?
Yes. Here at The Krafty Caterer, we proudly photograph and generate all of the images of products, events, and clients (with permission) that you find on the website.
